Sunday, July 7, 2019 from 6-10pm

Plexus Projects is pleased to present a solo exhibition of work by Wioleta Kaminska in our Vitrine screening series. “And The Whole World Stops” is a series of video landscapes and a visual exploration of our daily environment that we often assume to be predictable and mundane. Through visualizing landscapes where awe and time reside together, Kaminska provides the viewer with opportunities to slow down and indulge in a brief moment of contemplation and reflection.

Wioleta Kaminska is a San Francisco-based media artist. Her work ranges from photography, drawings, motion graphics to film, video and animations. Kaminska's meditative video landscapes are both a study in perception and stillness and visual reflection on the intersection between nature, technology and culture.

Kaminska’s video will be on view in Vitrine on Sunday, July 7, 2019 from 6-10pm. Vitrine is an ongoing screening series of videos projected on our storefront window and viewed from the sidewalk. The series welcomes unwitting passersby to stop, discover, and enjoy the work of an international selection of new media artists. Please note the gallery is closed during screening times.
