⚫️ REMOTE RESIDENCY AT A GLANCE

⚫️ ABOUT THE REMOTE RESIDENCY

The Plexus Projects Remote Residency provides online artist residencies paced as individual 1-month tracks. Residencies include weekly 1-on-1 meetings with multimedia artist and mentor Laura Splan focused on developing new projects and professional practices. The virtual format offers a flexible and affordable alternative to an in-person residency, with individualized studio visits, advising, and professional practices resources tailored to each artist’s needs. The residency combines the consistency of weekly meetings with the opportunity to engage with a wider artist community through quarterly community work shares. A culminating online exhibition provides each artist with a platform to share their work within the curated context of the Plexus Projects website at the conclusion of their first track. This interdisciplinary global residency is open to artists working in any media and is available year-round.

⚫️ APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

There are no special file naming, formatting, or image sizing requirements. If you have a website, PDF, or social media that contains your content, there is no need to upload artwork or information that is readily available via your links.
