Abe Homer

Abraham Homer is a Colorado-based artist and creative technologist working at the intersections of neuroscience, physical materials, and computational systems. His research-based practice produces generative installations, 3D-printed sculptures, brain-computer interface (BCI) systems, and immersive experiences that treat biometric data, geological form, and computation as interchangeable materials. He is drawn to invisible bodily processes made physical, and to the closed loops formed when digital output returns to the world it came from. His work has been presented at Plexus Projects, the ATLAS Institute, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and the European Creators Lab in Leipzig, with lectures at Yale, AWE, and PAX West and publications in the Journal of Medical Extended Reality. He spent seven years building the interactive and XR technology program at Children's Hospital Colorado, holds two US design patents, and won a 2024 Anthem Award. He collects rocks and thinks about them more than is probably necessary.
