‍Image made using a flatbed scanner as a camera of fungi and their released spores. In the studio, the released spores visually map their path as they settle on the scanner’s glass, echoing the entangled relationship of the understory's ecology.

Machine Kinship, the impossible duet
‍In 1987 the Kauai ōō sang his final song. It was meant to be a duet, but as the last of his kind his song hangs in the air. The other half is forever lost. The last song was fed into a ML model meant for human voices. Instead, is learning and recreating the response.

‍Digital Collage on Acrylic exploring consent, consumer culture, entitlement, and women’s rights. The images in the series draw from social media, art history, and digital culture by combining classical sculpture, tech iconography, digital or manufactured analog glitches, with crowdsourced conversations from dating apps and direct messages (DM).

‍Pennsyltucky
‍Excerpt of custom software simulation programmed in Love2d with original photographs and audio field recording. Pennsyltucky is an abstract artwork of infinite duration, part of a collection of generative simulations that I have written in the past six years. The name of this work references "the middle of Pennsylvania," both a place and a mindset.

‍Algorithms in Entropy IX
‍Acrylic and oil over laser-cut panel. The computer drawing for this piece is a montage of vector drawings and glitch files originally created from a SCSI scanner. The series examines how patterns or structures that are present all around us through computer interfaces, file folder organizational structures, glitches reveal the underworkings of our screens and GUI’s.
